Easter 2009

Hi anyone,

We've had a nice week, spent 5 days up at the farm meeting the cows....then on Wednesday, went to the easter show here in Sydney.

Since we were last at the farm (Xmas), the boys have bought some cows, 18 to be precise. They are on there way to fattening up for a year or so before heading off to a butcher near you...

The show experience wasn't too bad, we went early and were back home by 3pm. Aimee was scared of he baby lambs and goats in the farmyard nursery - was really hoping for a good photo op, but she enjoyed rides on the bumper boats, merry go-round, mini roller-coaster and big wheel.

Check out this video for Aimee's reaction to the cows...

The weather was unseasonally warm, close to 30c. Aimee did well in the showbag hall, her Poppy and Nanny donated $50 bucks, so she got a "Dora the Explorer", "Tigger and Pooh", and "Pirates of the Caribbean" bags. Here are a few more pics at the show.
See ya next time.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter anyone :)

Thursday was very exciting, apart from selling the house, we had some great news from Mariana and Renato, that they are expecting twins. Wow - what do you say...amazing.

We've had a busy 4 day w/e so far. Friday was spent completing a build of a PC and laptop (Umart), then delivering to our brother and sister in-law. Had to setup the internet, network, desktop, wireless Laptop and a printer as well. Good fun for a geek like me :)

Saturday we visited our friends for dinner a some Wii action on a 50inch plasma. Very addictive and the graphics were impressive on the HD TV. Unfortunately - I was tired and fell asleep with Aimee....not good company I'm afraid.

Today, we went to a family easter get together with my aunt/uncle and cousins. Lots of kids, and Aimee seemed to enjoy herself running around, though she managed to get a small cut over her eye. Way too much chocolate was consumed by all. ;)

Just watched the Malaysian F1 GP, mostly boring but nice to see McLaren one-two finish. Mark Webber had a "consistent" race, placed 1oth and not lapped.

Have been experimenting with blog layouts, Rose prefers this layout, and I don't mind it, so we will stay with it for now.
